So now Apple seems to have the power to request constitutional violations. Requesting the raid of Jason Chens home and the subsequent seizure of his property. So we have a journalist, I use that term lossely, but Jason is backed by the Gawker and he has a very widely read website, who has not signed any NDA, is being preyed upon by apple. Let us hope this does not happen to us. How can a simple PC company order the constitutional violation of american citizens? How could any sane judge sign off on such a search warrant. I think apple needs to reconsider the action they are taking on this one, as this may just blow up in their totalitarian faces.

Apple vs. Journalists
So by now we have all heard of the trouble that Jason Chen from over at Gizmodo is in after the iPhone 4G discovery last week. Let's take a quick look at Apples strategy here, lose a phone, phone gets published after being left out on a bar. Now I am not one to just absolutely take unprecedented pop shots at Apple, but c'mon Steve Jobs. So, a developer, probably depressed an drunk after being yelled at by Steve Jobs all day, forgot his dev phone. Even after signing a NDA the guy still forgot his phone. Then, somebody finds the phone, contacts Gizmodo, one of my favorite tech news sites by the way, and they buy it for, $5,000. No that's a hefty price to pay id you do not have the wait of a periodical behind you.
